Targeting NLRP3 expression by miR-223 can reduce inflammasome activation and therefore eliminate inflammation. However, the results on the expression of miR-223 in cancer are controversial. Thus, the study of the effect of miR-223 on NLRP3 inflammasome signaling in various forms of breast cancer, as well as on the formation of the tumor microenvironment, is an undoubtedly urgent task. This project will investigate the activation patterns of the NLRP3 cascade in ER + and triple-negative breast cancer cell lines, overexpressing miR-223-5p miRNAs and knockout function. This approach will make it possible to establish the therapeutic potential of microRNA preparations on the inflammatory cascade in the treatment of breast tumors.
